My parents bought us heaps but it didn't occur to me till a few years back that they were trying to make up for us not having grandparents as well. I've cut back heaps. The kids still get presents from aunts/uncles and numerous grandparents so don't feel deprived and they are much happier with a couple of much wanted items than lots and lots of "stuff". ell done!! i find the present thing hard. Go you! :) It's surprising how much fun it can be isn't it? I went through the same issue as you with the whole "will it look like enough presents" and in all honesty I think my kids have had MORE fun with their presents since I cut back than they did when I went overboard (and they felt overwhelmed). :) You do indeed ROCK!!!
